ZWT Summitt combines what we feel are some of the best American genetics in the Black Angus breed into one animal. Coleman Donna 714 and SAV Blackcap May 4136. It is an injection of maternal greatness. The daughters are moderate, easy fleshing, broody and have excellent udders. The sons are masculine, have added base width and muscle, and are always some of the first bulls to catch your eye. We use him to make great cows, and not only do we get that, but we also get very impressive sons. We continue to use Summitt year after year because they consistently work in our environment and for our customers.

Ripper is a household name around here. He is Summitt’s counterpart for us as he brings forth what we believe to be the best Canadian Black Angus genetics that we have found. This bull stamps his progeny with a type like no other animal we have used. Incredibly predictable when mating, Ripper brings a moderate frame size with plenty of muscle and structural soundness. His sons are masculine, and his daughters are extremely feminine.

Pictured at 4.5 years of age. This RVF herd sire is our resident SimAngus heifer bull. Sired by ZWT Summitt 6507 and out an Ellingson Exclusive B416 dam, this bull has proven himself reliable for heifers. He sires moderate framed offspring with a type similar to his sire, but with that extra bit of "grunt." His dam is also the dam of RVFI Fortress 339L. She is our favorite 2019 model cow here at RVF. She has only given us sons, and they have all been outstanding calves that have gone on to either be retained by us or have been top bulls in our bull sales. His dam is pictured at 7 years of age.
