Our Red Angus herd is focused on Purebred genetics. We are turning a blind eye to the mainstream in this pursuit, and using what we believe to be the best Red Angus cattle from both the US and Canada. While these cattle may be a different color, rest assured that we place the same emphasis on our breeding philosophy with these cattle as we do with the SimAngus cattle. Our Red Angus cattle are very popular with producers who need added heat tolerance and fleshing ability. They tend to be a bit more moderate in frame than our SimAngus cattle. They also excel in grass finishing programs.

Red Diamond is a load of red meat that walks on four legs. He has length of spine and muscle that bulges all the way down his topline to his hind quarter. His athleticism, power, and eye appeal is uncanny. Diamond is a rare commodity and a game changer in terms of grass efficiency. Additionally, he consistently sires offspring that have an unmistakable style all their own. We love the masculinity displayed in this bull.

Red blood is a complete made calving ease bull. He will add his dark red color and impeccable structure. His soundness of feet and correctness in his joints is excellent. Red Blood has an extreme amount of rib shape and ties in perfectly behind his shoulders with an overall smoothness and masculinity. The calves from Red Blood really catch your eye with their attractive look.

The $130,000 Township 17G is one of the premiere breeding pieces of any Red Bull that sold in 2020. Phenotypically he is tough to a fault expressing excellent shape and breed character. He is sound, perfect lined and has a herd bull presence. His dam Red U-2 Beauty 113Z is a model Angus cow and was the high selling red cow at $62,000 in U2’s historic dispersion. Township offers phenotype, excellent maternal traits, efficiency, scrotal, semen quality and stands on great feet. Township’s daughters are feminine and have a wonderful look to them. The sons are well balanced, very attractive and complete.

Admiral is touted as the best footed Red Angus bull in the breed. The high selling bull of the 2021 Twedt Red Angus program, he sold to Kenner Simmentals of Leeds, North Dakota. Sired by STRA General, and out of a Bieber Driven C540 daughter. Admiral has a BW ratio of 95 with a WW ratio of 117! He demolishes the antagonisms between Birthweight and Weaning Weight. His offspring are very impressive with the bulls having extra length of body, growth, muscle and masculinity, while the daughters have a very complete, fault free look to them.

Malbec has an ideal, wide muzzle and the shape of his head is next level with herd bull character. He flows into a massive deep rib cage and continuously transmits the quality to his offspring. He makes true low input seed stock. What really sets him apart is the amount of real red meat over his topline and down his lower stifle, yet he still has extreme soundness. His dam, Red U2 MS Divide 207F, is a stunning and powerful, hard-working female with a perfect constructed udder.
